How come only a handfull of people know about Modern Lovers? Light years ahead of their time, modern Lovers were doing punk in 1972, sorry Ramones! They did it first.
David Robinson later joined The Cars and Jerry Harrison moved on to Talking Heads.

This is one of the greatest albums of all time and with it's release in 1980 it was the shape of things to come. A decade of outstanding music would follow. Jon Hassell even appears on Houses In Motion. If you've never sat quietly and really listened to it, you should!

Live performance of (in my opinion) one of the greatest albums of any genre of music! Thats saying quite a lot because my tastes span rhe genre spectrum. An astounding collection of vocals and instrumentals performed in an audio visual epic. This is how live performances should be. All else leaves me cold.
Listen to December Train. Trans Europa Express brought into the 21st century!
This is NOT pop music.
Difficult to come by. Get it if you can.

Spinning my original promo copy from 83. Still clean and crisp after 39 years. Amazing! A great album although not my favorite by XTC. Beating Of Hearts is classic XTC musically and lyrically. And Human Alchemy sees the band in top form with Terry Chambers drumming a beat like no other. The slave trade was/is one of the greatest blights on mankind. My favorite track on the album!
