In my opinion the best Dire Straits album. Every track is spot on. When it came out I was just a kid who loved music but was sick of all the rubbish that the 1970s had produced and this blew me away. 5 stars, no less!
....and this pressing has one of the coolest record labels ever with its Roger Dean artwork.

Nothing less than 5 stars on this one. This particular disc is my original purchase from 1982. It sounds as fresh today as it did 40 years ago.
Just listen to Derek Forbes bass on Colours Fly and Catherine Wheel...
Produced by Peter Walsh, its one of the absolutely best produced albums I have ever heard!
How is it there were so many great bands from Scotland? HIGHLY recommended
